Jim Moss is a highly experienced law enforcement officer with a distinguished career in the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD). Over decades of service, he has built a reputation for bravery, leadership, and expertise in high-risk operations.

Moss spent a significant portion of his career in the department’s Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB), the elite unit responsible for SWAT operations, tactical interventions, and crisis response. His work in SEB included managing high-stakes situations such as active shooter incidents, hostage rescues, and dangerous warrant services.

In addition to SWAT duties, Moss served on Air Rescue 5, participating in critical rescue missions spanning mountainous terrain, ocean environments, and other challenging locations.
